Wigan Junior Latics FC was formed in 1983 for the junior supporters of Wigan Athletic. Over the years we have maintained our links to Wigan Athletic Football Club as they have progressed through the leagues. Our objectives are to encourage young people in and around the Wigan area to play Association Football by providing structured football opportunities for youngsters to play at age levels of U'8 through to U'16.
A measure of our success is when players progress to School of Excellence levels with professional clubs. We consider this to be a major achievement and applaud the youngster who has benefited from our time, effort and commitment.
